LovedTwice is a community platform for sustainable sharing, creative reuse, local discovery, and ArtDrop
Hunts. It includes ReLoved items, stories, forums, Local Spots, Mystery and Exploration Hunts, and Party
Hunts. Ghost Hunts are ArtDrop Hunts placed outdoors. The map starts covered and becomes visible only where
you walk.
2. Data We Collect
Account and profile data: email, username, display name, profile photo, bio, and links
you add (website/social). Artists may voluntarily publish a city label and country code; this never
contains an address or coordinates.
Community progress: server-verified level and points, aggregate contribution totals,
earned public achievement identifiers, follower/following totals, ArtDrop discoveries, and Live-session
records. Basic progress is shown by default to signed-in members so community contributions can be
recognised. A public ArtDrop discovery can contain the ArtDrop and artist, the calendar day, and an
optional broad completion-time range. A public past-Live recap defaults to activity and calendar day
only. After your explicit choice it may also contain a safe title and a smaller, re-encoded session
thumbnail with embedded metadata (including EXIF/GPS) removed. That copy is deleted when you hide the
recap or delete your account. You can hide each supported section at any time in Settings → Privacy. Only
server-sanitized public projections are displayed; email, exact locations, clues, find codes, precise
times or duration, routes, participant identities, and private activity are not included.
User content: item listings, stories, comments, forum posts, chat messages, and media
uploads.
Location data: approximate location for nearby content and precise foreground location
when you choose a map, placement, check-in, or nearby-claim feature. Pending Local Spot submissions are
not shown in public discovery. During the temporary older-client compatibility window, authenticated app clients
may technically query location records so already-installed versions continue to work; never submit a
private home address or confidential location detail. Approved Local Spot locations are public. Party
hosts submit exact hiding coordinates, while participants receive only
approximate search zones. A participant's precise foreground location is checked at claim time but is
not published. For Ghost Hunts we do not show the ArtDrop's exact coordinates but a coarsened center
point (to roughly 75 meters). While a Ghost Hunt is active, the app reads your precise location
continuously in the foreground to reveal the covered map along your route. This processing happens on
your device.
Revealed map for Ghost Hunts: We deliberately built Ghost Hunts so that the processing
of your route stays on your device. The revealed map area is stored as a file only locally on your
device, is not transmitted to our servers, and is not visible to other users. The file is deleted when
you claim the ArtDrop, abandon the hunt, or sign out. On Android it is additionally excluded from
system backup.
Party and hunt records: host or participant role, status, claims, memories, and recap
data. A coarse hunt-completion category may be stored in the claimant's private hunt history. It is not
a public speed ranking, and exact elapsed seconds are not displayed by the new community surfaces.
During the temporary older-client compatibility window, authenticated legacy app clients may technically
query legacy claim and Live-session documents that can contain exact timestamps or operational session
fields. New public-profile surfaces use sanitized projections, and this legacy access must be retired
after supported clients have migrated.
Optional claimed-ArtDrop community update: this experiment is off by default. If it is
available and you actively choose to share a particular find, other signed-in users may see your public
display name and profile photo, the ArtDrop title and image, and a coarse completion-time category for
no more than 24 hours. It never publishes the clue, find code, location or GPS data, exact elapsed time,
or raw hunt-timing inputs. You can remove the update even when the experiment switches are off. A data
export includes the same sanitized public fields; account deletion immediately suppresses the update
and deletes its exact server-owned projection with retry-safe cleanup.
Optional analytics and diagnostics: app interactions, crash reports, performance data,
and related device identifiers stay off until you enable them in Settings.
Security and fraud-prevention data: Firebase App Check and Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise
may process IP address, browser/device signals, and interaction signals to protect public forms and
callable functions from bots and abuse.
Notifications: push tokens and preferences.
LovedGoods orders (if enabled): shipping name, address, and email.
Shop and Hub data: business profile, public place information, hosted ArtDrops,
events, claims, visits, and aggregated impact or activity metrics used for the Hub dashboard.
3. How We Use Data
Provide and operate the service, including ReLoved exchanges and ArtDrop Hunts.
Show nearby content, improve discovery, and prevent abuse.
Send service and safety notifications.
Maintain security, troubleshoot, and analyze usage.
Comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing
Service providers: Google/Firebase (hosting, authentication, analytics, messaging).
Security providers: Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise/Firebase App Check for bot and fraud
prevention on web requests.
Other service providers: Apple for authorization when Sign in with Apple is used;
OpenStreetMap/Nominatim for map and address-search data.
Other users: LovedTwice is a signed-in community. Your display name, server-verified
level and points, public achievements, follower/following totals, aggregate impact, sanitized ArtDrop
discovery gallery, sanitized Live presence/history, and public content are visible to signed-in members
by default. Supported profile sections can be hidden at any time in Settings → Privacy. Active public
Live cards contain only safe title/activity and an aggregate check-in count; no source session id,
location, participant identity, media or precise timing is published. Private Party participation
remains private. Optional public Party memories contain only safe title, calendar day, role/display name
and aggregate totals; clues, radii, claim methods, drop/session ids, media paths, exact claim times and
private Party data are excluded. The temporary legacy-client access
described above remains a technical compatibility limitation until its retirement gate closes. A claimed-ArtDrop
community update appears only after the finder separately opts in for that claim and expires within
24 hours.
Authorities: when legally required.
5. Legal Bases (EU/DE)
Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for providing the signed-in community, public-profile, and
gamification features described above.
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for optional analytics and diagnostics and, where required, location or
notifications.
Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for safe community participation, fair play, security,
and fraud prevention, balanced by the profile opt-outs described above. You can object as explained
under Your Rights.
Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
6. International Transfers
Data may be processed in the United States and other countries by our providers. We rely on appropriate
safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Retention
We keep data while your account is active and only as long as needed afterward. In-app deletion fails closed:
if a required cleanup step is incomplete, the account remains and you can retry or contact support.
The revealed map area for Ghost Hunts is stored only locally on your device and is deleted when you claim
the ArtDrop, abandon the hunt, or sign out (see Section 2).
Upon account deletion:
Your account, private Party memories, hunt history, points, owned content, pending or rejected Local
Spot submissions, suggestions, and related media are deleted.
A finder-consented claimed-ArtDrop community update is suppressed immediately and its exact temporary
projection is deleted through retry-safe cleanup.
An approved community place may remain useful to the community, but your contributor identity is
removed. An event with other attendees may be cancelled and anonymized instead of silently removed.
Chats may remain for the other participant's message history while your profile identity is replaced
with "Deleted User".
Reports you submitted are anonymized, your identity is removed but content is retained for platform
safety (GDPR Art. 17(3)(e)).
Notifications you sent to others are anonymized, shown as "A user" to preserve recipients' activity
history.
Transaction records may be retained up to 7 years for legal compliance.
8. Your Rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing. You can
withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at lovedtwiceapp@gmail.com. You may lodge a
complaint with your local supervisory authority (Germany: Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz
Niedersachsen).
9. Analytics Consent (Web)
Optional analytics and diagnostics are off until you allow them. You can manage consent for this browser

10. Security
We use technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, Firebase App
Check, and Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise for fraud and bot prevention on web requests.
11. Children
LovedTwice is not intended for users under 16 in Germany/EU.
12. Changes
We may update this policy; we will update the effective date.
LovedTwice ist eine Community-Plattform für nachhaltiges Teilen, kreative Wiederverwendung, lokale
Entdeckungen und ArtDrop Hunts. Sie umfasst ReLoved-Items, Stories, Foren, Local Spots, Mystery und
Exploration Hunts sowie Party Hunts. Ghost Hunts sind draußen platzierte ArtDrop Hunts. Die Karte startet
verdeckt und wird nur dort sichtbar, wo du selbst entlanggehst.
2. Welche Daten wir erheben
Konto- und Profildaten: E-Mail, Nutzername, Anzeigename, Profilfoto, Bio sowie Links
(Website/Social). Artists können freiwillig eine Stadtbezeichnung und einen Ländercode veröffentlichen;
diese Angabe enthält niemals Adresse oder Koordinaten.
Community-Fortschritt: servergeprüfte Level und Punkte, zusammengefasste
Beitragszahlen, Kennungen verdienter öffentlicher Erfolge, Follower-/Gefolgt-Gesamtzahlen,
ArtDrop-Funde und Live-Session-Datensätze. Grundlegender Fortschritt ist standardmäßig für angemeldete
Mitglieder sichtbar, damit Community-Beiträge erkennbar werden. Ein öffentlicher ArtDrop-Fund kann
ArtDrop und Artist, den Kalendertag sowie optional einen groben Dauerbereich enthalten. Ein
öffentlicher Rückblick auf eine vergangene Live Session enthält standardmäßig nur Aktivität und
Kalendertag. Nach deiner ausdrücklichen Auswahl kann er zusätzlich einen sicheren Titel und ein
kleineres, neu codiertes Session-Vorschaubild enthalten; eingebettete Metadaten (einschließlich
EXIF/GPS) werden entfernt. Diese Kopie wird gelöscht, wenn du den Rückblick ausblendest oder dein Konto
löschst. Unterstützte Bereiche kannst du jederzeit unter Einstellungen →
Privatsphäre ausblenden. Angezeigt werden ausschließlich serverseitig bereinigte öffentliche
Projektionen; E-Mail, genaue Orte, Hinweise, Fundcodes, genaue Zeit oder Dauer, Routen, Identitäten von
Teilnehmenden und private Aktivitäten sind nicht enthalten.
Inhalte: Inserate, Stories, Kommentare, Forenbeiträge, Chat-Nachrichten und
Medienuploads.
Standortdaten: ungefähr für Inhalte in deiner Nähe und genau im Vordergrund, wenn du
bewusst eine Karten-, Platzierungs-, Check-in- oder Claim-Funktion nutzt. Ungeprüfte Local-Spot-
Vorschläge erscheinen nicht in der öffentlichen Entdeckung. Während eines vorübergehenden
Kompatibilitätsfensters für ältere Clients können angemeldete App-Clients Ortsdaten technisch abfragen,
damit bereits installierte Versionen
weiter funktionieren; übermittle deshalb niemals private Wohnadressen oder vertrauliche Ortsangaben.
Nach der Freigabe ist der Standort öffentlich. Party-Hosts übermitteln genaue Versteckpositionen; Teilnehmende
sehen nur ungefähre Suchbereiche. Beim Claim wird der genaue Standort geprüft, aber nicht veröffentlicht.
Bei Ghost Hunts zeigen wir nicht die exakten Koordinaten des ArtDrops, sondern einen vergröberten
Mittelpunkt (auf etwa 75 Meter). Während eine Ghost Hunt aktiv ist, liest die App deinen präzisen
Standort fortlaufend im Vordergrund, um die verdeckte Karte entlang deines Weges aufzudecken. Diese
Auswertung passiert auf deinem Gerät.
Aufgedeckte Karte bei Ghost Hunts: Wir haben Ghost Hunts bewusst so gebaut, dass die
Auswertung deines Weges auf deinem Gerät bleibt. Der aufgedeckte Kartenbereich wird als Datei nur lokal
auf deinem Gerät gespeichert, nicht an unsere Server übertragen und ist für andere Nutzer nicht
sichtbar. Die Datei wird gelöscht, sobald du den ArtDrop claimst, die Hunt aufgibst oder dich
abmeldest. Auf Android ist sie zusätzlich vom System-Backup ausgeschlossen.
Party- und Hunt-Verlauf: Rolle, Status, Claims, Erinnerungen und Rückblicke. Eine grobe
Hunt-Dauer-Kategorie kann im privaten Hunt-Verlauf der findenden Person gespeichert werden. Sie ist
keine öffentliche Rangliste; genaue Sekunden werden in den neuen Community-Flächen nicht angezeigt.
Während des vorübergehenden Kompatibilitätsfensters für ältere Clients können angemeldete ältere App-Clients
technisch noch bisherige Claim- und Live-Session-Dokumente abfragen, die genaue Zeitstempel oder
betriebliche Session-Felder enthalten können. Neue öffentliche Profilflächen nutzen bereinigte
Projektionen; dieser bisherige Zugriff muss nach der Migration unterstützter Clients beendet werden.
Optionale Community-Meldung zu einem gefundenen ArtDrop: Dieses Experiment ist
standardmäßig deaktiviert. Wenn es verfügbar ist und du einen bestimmten Fund aktiv teilst, können
andere angemeldete Nutzer höchstens 24 Stunden lang deinen öffentlichen Anzeigenamen und dein
Profilfoto, Titel und Bild des ArtDrops sowie eine grobe Dauer-Kategorie sehen. Hinweis, Find-Code,
Standort- oder GPS-Daten, die genaue verstrichene Zeit und rohe Hunt-Zeitwerte werden nie
veröffentlicht. Du kannst die Meldung auch entfernen, wenn die Experiment-Schalter deaktiviert sind.
Der Datenexport enthält nur dieselben bereinigten öffentlichen Felder; bei Kontolöschung wird die
Meldung sofort unterdrückt und ihre genaue serververwaltete Projektion fehlersicher gelöscht.
Optionale Analytics und Diagnosen: App-Interaktionen, Crash-Reports,
Leistungsdaten und zugehörige Gerätekennungen bleiben deaktiviert, bis du sie in den Einstellungen
erlaubst.
Sicherheits- und Missbrauchspräventionsdaten: Firebase App Check und Google reCAPTCHA
Enterprise können IP-Adresse, Browser-/Gerätesignale und Interaktionssignale verarbeiten, um
öffentliche Formulare und Callable Functions vor Bots und Missbrauch zu schützen.
Benachrichtigungen: Push-Token und Einstellungen.
LovedGoods-Bestellungen (falls aktiviert): Name, Adresse und E-Mail für den Versand.
Shop- und Hub-Daten: Unternehmensprofil, öffentliche Ortsangaben, gehostete ArtDrops,
Events, Claims, Besuche sowie zusammengefasste Wirkungs- und Aktivitätswerte für das Hub-Dashboard.
3. Wie wir die Daten nutzen
Betrieb der Plattform (ReLoved, ArtDrop Hunts).
Inhalte in der Nähe, bessere Suche und Missbrauchsprävention.
Service- und Sicherheitsbenachrichtigungen.
Sicherheit, Fehleranalyse und Produktverbesserung.

Weitere Dienstleister: Apple für die Autorisierung bei „Mit Apple anmelden“;
OpenStreetMap/Nominatim für Karten- und Adresssuchdaten.
Andere Nutzer: LovedTwice ist eine Community für angemeldete Mitglieder. Anzeigename,
servergeprüftes Level und Punkte, öffentliche Erfolge, Follower-/Gefolgt-Gesamtzahlen,
zusammengefasster Impact, eine bereinigte ArtDrop-Fundgalerie, bereinigte Live-Präsenz und -Historie
sowie öffentliche Inhalte sind standardmäßig für angemeldete Mitglieder sichtbar. Aktive öffentliche
Live-Karten enthalten nur sicheren Titel bzw. Aktivität und eine zusammengefasste Check-in-Zahl; keine
Quell-Session-Kennung, Orte, Identitäten von Teilnehmenden, Medien oder genauen Zeiten. Private
Party-Teilnahmen bleiben privat. Optionale öffentliche Party-Erinnerungen enthalten nur sicheren Titel,
Kalendertag, Rolle/Anzeigenamen und Summen; Hinweise, Radien, Claim-Methoden, Drop-/Session-Kennungen,
Medienpfade, genaue Claim-Zeiten und private Party-Daten sind ausgeschlossen. Der oben
beschriebene technische Zugriff älterer Clients bleibt eine vorübergehende
Kompatibilitätseinschränkung, bis sein Beendigungsgate geschlossen ist. Eine Community-Meldung zu einem
gefundenen ArtDrop erscheint nur, wenn die findende Person diesem bestimmten Fund separat zustimmt,
und verfällt innerhalb von 24 Stunden.
Behörden: wenn gesetzlich erforderlich.
5. Rechtsgrundlagen (EU/DE)
Vertrag (Art. 6(1)(b) DSGVO) für die oben beschriebenen Funktionen der angemeldeten Community,
öffentlichen Profile und Gamification.
Einwilligung (Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO) für optionale Analytics und Diagnosen sowie, soweit erforderlich,
für Standort oder Benachrichtigungen.
Berechtigtes Interesse (Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO) an sicherer Community-Teilnahme, Fair Play, Sicherheit
und Betrugsabwehr, abgewogen mit den oben beschriebenen Profil-Opt-outs. Du kannst wie unter Deine
Rechte beschrieben widersprechen.
Rechtliche Verpflichtungen (Art. 6(1)(c) DSGVO).
6. Internationale Datenübertragung
Daten können durch unsere Anbieter in den USA und anderen Ländern verarbeitet werden. Wir nutzen geeignete
Schutzmechanismen wie Standardvertragsklauseln.
7. Speicherdauer
Wir speichern Daten, solange dein Konto aktiv ist, und danach nur so lange wie erforderlich. Die Löschung ist
fehlersicher: Ist ein notwendiger Bereinigungsschritt nicht abgeschlossen, bleibt das Konto bestehen und
du kannst es erneut versuchen oder den Support kontaktieren.
Der aufgedeckte Kartenbereich bei Ghost Hunts wird nur lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert und gelöscht,
sobald du den ArtDrop claimst, die Hunt aufgibst oder dich abmeldest (siehe Abschnitt 2).
Bei Kontolöschung:
Konto, private Party-Erinnerungen, Hunt-Verlauf, Punkte, eigene Inhalte, ungeprüfte oder abgelehnte
Local-Spot-Vorschläge und zugehörige Medien werden gelöscht.
Eine von der findenden Person freigegebene Community-Meldung zu einem gefundenen ArtDrop wird sofort
unterdrückt; ihre genaue temporäre Projektion wird fehlersicher gelöscht.
Ein freigegebener Community-Ort kann bestehen bleiben; deine Identität als einreichende Person wird
entfernt. Ein Event mit weiteren Teilnehmenden kann abgesagt und anonymisiert werden.
Chats können für den Nachrichtenverlauf der anderen Person bestehen bleiben; deine Profilidentität
erscheint als „Gelöschter Benutzer“.
Von dir eingereichte Meldungen werden anonymisiert, deine Identität wird entfernt, aber der Inhalt
bleibt für die Plattformsicherheit erhalten (DSGVO Art. 17(3)(e)).
Benachrichtigungen, die du an andere gesendet hast, werden anonymisiert, angezeigt als „Ein Nutzer", um
den Aktivitätsverlauf der Empfänger zu bewahren.
Transaktionsdatensätze können bis zu 7 Jahre für die Rechtskonformität aufbewahrt werden.
8. Deine Rechte
Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Datenübertragbarkeit, Widerspruch und Widerruf der

Aufsichtsbehörde möglich (Deutschland: Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen).
9. Analytics-Einwilligung (Web)
Optionale Analytics und Diagnosen bleiben deaktiviert, bis du sie erlaubst. Hier kannst du die Einwilligung
für diesen Browser anpassen.

10. Sicherheit
Wir nutzen technische und organisatorische Maßnahmen, einschließlich Verschlüsselung bei der Übertragung,
Zugriffskontrollen, Firebase App Check und Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise zur Betrugs- und Bot-Prävention bei
Web-Anfragen.
11. Kinder
LovedTwice richtet sich in Deutschland/EU nicht an Personen unter 16 Jahren.
12. Änderungen
Wir können diese Richtlinie anpassen; das Datum wird aktualisiert.
